Sisi Ye and Michelle Shi, from Ottawa and Toronto, respectively, both graduated from McGill University, and have stayed in Montreal to develop their career paths. The two young, promising career women will come to our East&West Dialogue and share how they have evolved, their work-life balance, as well as feelings and experiences they have had throughout the journey.

Guest Speaker Bios
Michelle Shi is a program manager, entrepreneur, and artist based in Montreal. Currently, she works at Shopify, building policy and tooling to support the App Store and Partner ecosystem. Michelle graduated from McGill University and has held positions at Bell, Coca-Cola, Universal Music, and Connect & Go. Outside of work, Michelle is co-founder of an art collective, where she makes jewelry and takes part in other creative projects. She is also the keyboard player of her newly established band, Modern Lizards. She gets excited about bringing communities together, learning new skills, and working remotely around the world.
Sisi Ye is a marketing professional based in Montreal, QC. After having graduated from McGill University in 2016 with a Major in Marketing, she continued expanding her expertise in that field through working across several industries, including food delivery and e-commerce. She is currently the Senior Brand Manager at Athena Club, a direct-to-consumer personal care company based in NYC. A curious person by nature, Sisi is always looking for new things to learn about, interesting experiences to try, and the next adventure to embark on. In her personal time, Sisi enjoys discovering new cuisines, staying active, and spending time with her cat.
