(Eastern time) \n\n\n\nRegister here  \n\n\n\n Ed Shiller\, now based in Toronto\,  is an engaging speaker with a host of fascinating reminiscences of his work for civil rights and social justice while a student at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in the early 1960s.  In his subsequent career as a journalist for prominent news agencies like the New York Times and Reuters \, he covered major international stories\, and crossed paths with many of the world leaders of the day.  Ed will begin the dialogue with a brief account of some of the lessons he has learned about the deep-seated causes of racism and how best to overcome them.  Where the discussion goes from there\, however\, is up to you\, So\, please feel free to interrupt Ed at any time to ask a question or make a comment.
