EAWLC Workshop on Public Speech Skills

Errol Cyrus has been a Toastmaster for over twenty years, with awards of Advanced Communication Bronze (ACB) and Competent leader (CL).   He is this year’s Area Director for four Toastmasters clubs in Richmond Hill.  Errol has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Admin from Northern Caribbean University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, USA. He is also TESL certified in Canada.  He has over 10 years of experience in disability and employment in both not-for-profit and private sector as a trainer, job coach and advocate for persons with disabilities.  Errol is currently an Employment Specialist with Employment Services at Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.  He connects with employers, identifies job opportunities in the “hidden job market”, and places job seekers with disabilities.  Errol is a loving husband and father of three children.

We are excited that Errol will come to our club, and facilitate a workshop on public speech skills.  Ice-breaker speech delivery, interactive table topics, tips on gestures, techniques to overcome nervousness…It’s going to be a fun evening!  And you are welcome to raise any questions  based on what you have learned about and from our guest!

Time: Thursday April 18, 2019 6:30-8:30 P.M.

6:30-7 P.M.  Meals & social

7-8:30 P.M.  Workshop runs

Venue: Iroquois Jr. Public School

265 Chartland Blvd., Scarborough (near Finch & Brimley; free parking at the west side of the school building)

Cost: Free, including simple meals.
